Detroit Community Solutions has partnered with Ascension Health Systems, Wayne State University, Disability Network, The Wayne County Oral Health Coalition, The Oral Health Progress and Equity Network, The Voices of Detroit Initiative, and The Michigan State Department of Health to provide programing and services including health fairs, focus groups on health disparities and social determinants of health, oral health screenings and information and COVID-19 mobile testing.

Through our partnership with Ascension, we created a Neighborhood Health and Safety Center that was open to residents daily at our office location at the Conner Creek Health Center. This initiative provided security patrols along walking paths, marked spaces for indoor walking at Conner Creek, exercise classes for seniors a multimedia health information station and the availability of weight and blood pressure checks daily.
